Current Sermon Series: The Acts Church

Today’s Message: “A Basket & A Barnabas”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 9: 20 – 31

Change Happens! When we come in contact with the Risen, Living Lord then transformation occurs. Saul (a.k.a. the apostle Paul) came face to face with the resurrected Jesus, was changed, and called into ministry. But not everyone believed his conversion was true. Many opposed him so God provided a Basket and a Barnabas to protect him. Regardless of what issues or troubles you face, God will supply you need as well.

Today’s Message: “One Beggar To Another”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 3

Preacher D.T. Niles once said, “I am just one beggar telling other beggars where to find bread.” The early Christians left the Upper Room and took the gospel to the streets and one of the first recipients was a nameless beggar sitting by the temple gate.

The Beauty and Blessings of Baptism! What a wonderful privilege God gives us to follow in the footsteps of His Son in such a practical and personal way. To be fully obedient in the waters of baptism and fully immersed in the way of our Lord is a beautiful thing. Have you “taken the plunge”? If not … why not … do so today?

Saint Augustine once said, “A Christian should be an Alleluia from head to foot.” Our Confession of Faith in Christ is an opportunity for the children of God to proclaim our love for HIm! We should wear our love for Christ openly in our lives.

Today’s Message: “Hear, Believe, Receive”

Today’s Scripture: Various Scriptures

The apostle John wrote, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth” (III John vs 4). Where will you be when you get where you’re going? Life is a walk we are taking toward a destination and God wants our paths to be clear and our direction straight toward Him. He wants our ears, minds, and hearts open to Him.

Today’s Scripture: Acts 9: 1 – 19

Saul, who later we know as the apostle Paul, was still hunting down and persecuting Christians. But his life would soon change as the Resurrected Jesus confronts him and blinds him by a brilliant heavenly light. Saul’s “road to Damascus” experience would change his life and mission forever.

Today’s Message: “Principles Of Effective Evangelism”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 8: 26 – 40

A revival was taking place in Samaria. Philip was one of the main leaders of this revival. The gospel was being spread in a big way and suddenly God tells Philip to “Go”; leave all the excitement and head south into the desert. The reason? There was one man reading God’s Word and seeking a Savior. Philip obeyed and ministry took place. God wants His lost sheep found and will go to extremes to see it happens.

Today’s Message: “Out Of The Saltshaker”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 8: 1 – 8

In today’s teaching we find the Church under attack and the early Christians scattering. But our God is Sovereign and He uses the persecution of the early Christians to scatter them and His gospel message throughout the world. God turns the “saltshaker” upside down and sprinkles the salt of His Grace and Love out onto distant lands.
