Winston Churchill rallied a nation in WW II with his inspirational speech, “We shall fight on the beaches … we shall never give in.” As Christians we too are at war and the family is under attack. As Nehemiah said, “fight for your families.” Nehemiah’s words give us ammunition to do battle with confidence.

James Harrison, aka, “The Man With The Golden Arm”, has the world record for the most blood donations in his lifetime; 1,173 in over 60 years. Each pint he gave had the potential of extending someone’s life. But Jesus Christ has the record for the most “impactful” donation of blood. His one-time donation of His Life on the Cross has the potential to give everyone life forevermore!

Today’s Message: “Caught Between THE Rock & A Hard Place”

Today’s Scripture: Mark 15: 1 – 15

Pontius Pilate faced a predicament. Does he pacify the people or crucify the Christ? In the process of deciding he asks the most important question anyone will ever have to answer; What shall I do with Jesus? And of course his choice was the wrong one. The question for us is the same; What will you do with Jesus? Choose wisely.

Today’s Message: “Trials & Denials”

Today’s Scripture: Mark 14: 53 – 72

Have you ever been called into court? Have you ever had to stand before a judge and have your behavior evaluated? It is uncomfortable at the very least and frightening for most of us. Jesus was made to endure several hearings in one night; illegally tried, unethically accused, and faced witnesses who were illegitimate. But Christ did so with dignity and honesty as the Cross was close at hand.

Today’s Message: “Falling & Fleeing”

Experts tell us that most every person, when confronted with danger or threat to our survival, will have one of two responses; “Fight or Flight”. We find the Disciples displaying both in our verses for today and we can see ourselves in these verses as well.
