Today’s Scripture: Various Scriptures

The word Nativity means “to be born; the occasion of one’s birth”. And the scenes around the Nativity point to and celebrate the humble birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Today we give attention to the ordinary Stable as the Extraordinary is born in the Ordinary. Has Jesus been born in you? Does your heart, like the Stable, house Him?

Today’s Message: “Seven Deadly Words”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 10: 1 – 23

The seven deadliest words hindering progress in the church, in business, or in our lives are; “we’ve never done it that way before”. In our Scripture for today we find God breaking the barriers and changing the standards as He opens the door of the Gospel to the Gentiles. This is an unprecedented move by God and one that takes Peter beyond his own personal boundaries. Are you open to God’s “new” movement in your life? Perhaps He wants to change some things through you as well.

Today’s Message: “Lord, Make My Life A Miracle”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 9: 32 – 43

We often think of a miracle as something God does “for us”, but miracles are also something God wants to do “through us” for others. The apostle Peter visited two different regions where he met two different people who both needed miracles. God touched them through Peter and God received the glory. Thomas Kelly once prayed, “Lord, make my life a miracle!” Can this prayer be your prayer today?
