Today’s Message: Family Values

Today’s Scripture: Various Scriptures

Today we see the role Grandparents play in God’s Plan. Grandmothers and Grandfathers still have value in God’s sight and you have a unique opportunity to impact the next generation for Christ. You have a unique calling to leave a legacy of love for Jesus.

Today’s Message:   God’s Grand Plan

Today’s Scripture:  Genesis 2: 18 – 25

Marriage can be compared to a river where two smaller tributaries meet, blend together and deepen over time until the two streams become one.  Scripture teaches that God’s Grand Plan for a woman and a man has that same imagery; two lives meet and blend together over time until two lives become one.

Kipling said, “Family is where all of us are we, and everyone else is they.” Jesus gives the foundation for healthy relationships in these verses today; Leave, Cleave, and Weave Christ into our lives.

Current Sermon Series: “The Agony and The Ecstasy”

Today’s Message: As Of 1st Importance

Today’s Scripture: I Corinthians 15

A fun question to ask a group as an ice breaker is, “If you were shipwrecked alone on an island what one book would you want with you?” Along those same lines, if you could only have one chapter of the Bible with you which chapter would you choose? Well if you decided on I Corinthians 15 it would be a wise choice. In chapter 15, Paul gives us the gospel clearly and simply and emphasizes the importance of the resurrection of Christ from the dead.

Today’s Message: A Seven Mile Hike Back To Hope

Today’s Scripture: Luke 24: 13 – 35

Let’s follow alongside two men who are directionally challenged on the road to Emmaus. It’s still Easter Day but these two disciples are walking the wrong way; away from Jesus, away from the resurrection, and they are without hope. But when Jesus comes along side of them and joins them on their journey they move from being hopeless to having hope restored.

Current Sermon Series: “The Agony and The Ecstasy”

Today’s Message: Seeing Is Believing

Today’s Scripture: John 20: 19 – 29

“The Show Me State” is a slogan that has become synonymous with the people of Missouri. But God calls Christians to walk by faith and not by sight. Our character for today is “Doubting Thomas” and he demanded proof that Christ was alive and received what he needed after the longest, loneliest week of his life.

Today’s Message:   Easter:  A Cemetery Full Of Surprises!

Today’s Scripture:  Various Scriptures

If you were asked to define Easter with one word, which word would you choose to use?  Which single word would you use to describe Jesus’ Victory over the grave and His Triumph over death?
I would choose to use the word … SURPRISE!  His Empty Tomb that day was filled with Surprises.

Today’s Message:   Psalm Sunday:  A Wild Ride!

Today’s Scripture:  Luke 19: 28 – 42

The crowd was ecstatic!  Praising Jesus as King.  Waving Palm Branches.  Dropping their garments on the ground.  It was a celebration!  When suddenly Jesus began to cry LOUDLY.  Five days later many of the same people who praised Him would shout Crucify Him.  It was a wild ride of emotions!
