We are in the final month of the National Monument review, and nearing the August 24th deadline where Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke will release his recommendations on whether to downsize, eliminate, or leave 22 National Monuments as they currently stand. The National Wildlife Federation believes that this review was unnecessary, possibly illegal, and has the potential to create a precedent normalizing the piecemeal dismantling of our public lands system. 

Collin O’Mara, President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation, joins our Wendy Edwards to discuss the possibilities that exist.
