Current Sermon Series: The Acts Church

Today’s Message: “A Basket & A Barnabas”

Today’s Scripture: Acts 9: 20 – 31

Change Happens! When we come in contact with the Risen, Living Lord then transformation occurs. Saul (a.k.a. the apostle Paul) came face to face with the resurrected Jesus, was changed, and called into ministry. But not everyone believed his conversion was true. Many opposed him so God provided a Basket and a Barnabas to protect him. Regardless of what issues or troubles you face, God will supply you need as well.

Coming Home Well – Rob Cosman – Purple Heart Project

Rob Cosman (robcosman.com) is a master woodworker and teacher that runs workshops for individuals wanting to learn how to create furniture using hand tools.  Somewhere in his career he decided to give back to combat-wounded veterans by offering scholarships to his Train the Hand workshops.  Through this process of civilian woodworkers and disabled vets learning from Rob side-by-side, the vets found a source of healing, and the civilians better understood what veterans go through when they come home from war.  Capt Bob also interviews veterans Matthew Brugeman, Jon Noonan, David Benson, and civilian Brad Johnson about the entire experience.
