The Fluvanna Youth Soccer Association will be hosting their “Play Like A Girl” winter soccer clinic on January 26 & 27, 2019, from 10am-1pm at Fluvanna County High School with special guest coach, Joanna Lohman, from the Washington Spirit. This clinic will focus on skill building, girl empowerment and building self esteem on and off the field!

Coming Home Well – Goodman Allen Donnelly – Veterans Day 2018

Veterans Day.  It’s a weekend that means so much to us veterans, and this year is particularly special.  It’s the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.  On November 11, 1918, at 11:11 am, the guns fell silent.  Captain Bob shares how this day is personal to both him and his family, as well as how you can celebrate. Given that it’s Veterans Day weekend, Capt Bob interviews the law firm of Goodman, Allen, and Donnelly (goodmanallen.com) about how they help veterans from all eras receive disability compensation from the VA.  Another organization that helps our heroes.
