Lindsey Harrison – Girls in Boy Scouts

Starting next year, young girls can join Cub Scout units, known as dens. Local scouting organizations can choose to have dens for girls and dens for boys. “Cub Scout dens will be single-gender – all boys or all girls,” the organization said in a statement.

The Executive Director of PACEM homeless shelter listens to Wendy gush about the program and tries to get a word in. Volunteers are needed as we approach the cold weather months. PACEM provides a hot meal and a pillow for every head who does not currently have a place to call home. There are openings which can benefit from your skills and knowledge.
