Virginia is home to over 100,000 women veterans – the highest percentage of any state in the U.S. Women veterans face unique challenges and opportunities when transitioning from active duty to civilian life. Virginia Department of Veterans Services will be hosting our fifth annual Summit to discuss these issues this summer. It is a free event for active servicewomen and veterans.
