Study: How Area Organizations Manage Cybersecurity. | Lorri Haney

Lorri Haney, with Advanced Network Systems, Inc, discusses with Les Sinclair the benchmark study, which explores how local organizations respond to evolving cyber threats as well as beliefs and perceptions about cybersecurity, will help the Chamber identify regional trends, priorities and challenges. The survey ends Oct. 18. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete. It can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/ChamberCybersecurity2018 through Thursday, October 18. October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The Chamber will present Mission Possible: Cybersecurity Education & Defense for the Rest of Us on Thursday, October 25, 4-7pm at The Jefferson Theater in downtown Charlottesville. An expert panel of presenters includes Marc Laliberte, Senior Security Threat Analyst, WatchGuard Technologies; Christopher Smith, Director of Cybersecurity Strategy, SAS; Beth Waller, Chair of Cybersecurity Practice, Woods Rogers PLC; and Tony Petrella, Vice President, Engineering, Advanced Network Systems.
