Over the past ten years, a lot has been accomplished through the Sentara/Martha Jefferson Hospital partnership. Outpatient Care Center, including a free-standing emergency department in Northern Albemarle, added a helipad to our hospital campus to aid stroke patients, opened the Sentara Sports Medicine Center, recruited advanced surgical specialists.
