SCOTUS Rules on Texas Abortion Clinics Case

University of Virginia Professor of Law, Charles Barzun, discusses the U.S. Supreme Court decision (Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt.) to strike down a Texas law requiring doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals and forced clinics to meet hospital-like standards for outpatient surgery. The justices voted 5-3.
