Va. Tech politics professor Nicholas Goedert is a redistricting expert and believes the commission will approve both state legislative and Congressional redistricting maps ahead of throwing them to the Supreme Court. The main hang-up between Republican- and Democrat-proposed maps is racial appropriation into the districts. WINA’s Jay Hart talks about that, and why those differences exist.
