MLK Celebration in Charlottesville

Charlottesville’s MLK Celebration will be January 18th- 31st. Lorenzo Dickerson (Director of Communications), Joy Elmore (Communications and Programming Assistant), and Meghan Faulkner (Chief of Staff) share details on the local MLK celebrations. The Community Read on January 25th will be a panel discussion of Dr. Martin Luther King’s book “Where do we Go from Here: Chaos or Community?” The book was written in 1967 and has many parallels to today’s issues and is the theme for the celebration.
