In the U.S., suicide rates are highest during the spring. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for 15 to 24-year-olds and 2nd for 24 to 35-year-olds. On average, 1 person commits suicide every 16.2 minutes. Each suicide intimately affects at least 6 other people, and as many as 100 people overall.

The Suicide Prevention and Awareness Resource Council (SPARC) Presents: Suicide – The Ripple Effect, at the Paramount Theater on Tuesday, May 29th at 7:00pm. It’s a feature length documentary film and movement, currently in production, focusing on the devastating effects of suicide and the tremendous positive ripple effects of advocacy, inspiration and hope that are helping millions heal & stay alive.
