Local Police Participate in Special Olympics Torch Run

Les Sinclair talks with ACPD First Sargent Elizabeth Gomez.  The officers are gearing up for the annual Torch Run event leading up to the opening of the Summer Games for the Virginia Special Olympics this weekend! The run is Wednesday (6/9/21) morning.  It starts at the 5th Street Office Building (ACPD), running up 5th Street past the Ridge Street Firehouse. The entire run itself usually takes around 60-90 minutes.
