WINA’s Les Sinclair talks with Dr. Joseph Wiencek, who was recognized by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as one of their “40 Under Forty” for their achievements and impact on pathology and lab medicine.  Dr. Wiencek’s work includes serving as co-chair of UVA Health’s Laboratory Stewardship Committee, where he is working to make UVA a national model by focusing on “high-value” lab testing and seeking to eliminate over-requesting lab tests.
