An open letter was sent to Gov. Ralph Northam by a group, that wants the Governor to have even more strict measures to stop the spread. WINA News spoke with Rajesh Balkrishnan, PhD, Professor of Public Health Science, University of Virginia, and Yaneer Bar-Yam, president of the New England Complex Systems Institute and leader of the initiative, who said the goal shouldn’t be slowing the spread of COVID-19 but to eliminate it completely.
