House of Worship Safety Workshop

On Thursday, March 12, 2020, Albemarle County Police is conducting a House of Worship Safety Workshop. It’s open to ALL congregations in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area.

ACPD Officers will present best practices for religious leaders to promote a safe and secure place to worship. During this workshop, participants will learn about crime prevention, identifying active assailants, and developing security plans.

Lunch from Mission BBQ will be provided and space is limited. RSVP to Officer Joe George at georgej@albemarle.org by February 26, 2020.
