Gary Lavergne is an author who’s made a careful study of the mindset of mass murderers.
He wrote a book looking into the mind of the Charles Whitman, who killed 16 people and wounded 32 others (a total of 49 victims including himself) during a shooting rampage on and around the University of Texas tower on August 1, 1966.
