We have the greatest job in the world, speaking with amazing warriors and chronicling their trials as they return home from war.  Some jobs are more dangerous than others, and one of the most dangerous was being on a convoy in Iraq in 2004. Our guest, Jenny Pacanowski (www.jennywarriorpoet.com), was an Army combat medic on those very convoys and now hosts writing workshops to help female veterans reintegrate with American culture.  Many vets agree that it’s far harder for women to re-assimilate after deployment, and these workshops help veterans realize they are not alone.
