When veterans come home, we often get involved in politics at the local level.  Should a civilian automatically vote veteran?  Or is their veteran status simply another asset they can bring to the table?  And what can we all do to better engage civically and help our communities?

The Awesome Event is coming October 27th-29th 2017, to Charlottesvile! Bringing Civic Engagement and Resiliency to our area’s youth. Event organizer Jeanne Catherine-Gray and Charlottesville City Councilor Bob Fenwick come in to discuss the importance of introducing both of these aspects of leadership to our children.
