Advances in medicine have drastically reduced casualty rates on the battlefield, but the flip side of that is there are more veterans returning home with injuries, both seen & unseen.  How do you react to seeing someone with an invisible disability?  How does the veteran react?  We speak with retired Army SFC Helyn Stowe (paws4freedom) and her service dog Astro about her invisible disability and how Astro assists.  She received Astro from K9 For Warriors (k9sforwarriors.org) who pairs rescue dogs with disabled veterans.  Learn how you can help these vets come home well.
