Today’s Message: “A Servant In The Shadows”

Today’s Scriptures: Matthew 1: 18 – 25

Joseph is the all-but forgotten silent servant of Christmas. His role is vital but his character is silent. We have no recorded words from him in Scripture; he never speaks a word. But his silent testimony and faithfulness speaks volumes for us.

Today’s Message: “Going The Extra Mile”

Today’s Scriptures: John 13: 1 – 5, 12 – 17

One of the greatest examples of servanthood in Scripture finds Jesus kneeling down washing feet. While others saw food on a table Jesus saw filthy feet. While others saw a meal Jesus saw a ministry moment. Give us Your eyes, Lord that we may see as You see.

Jesus gives us His clearly defined mission statement in verse 10 saying, “The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.” Should the mission of His Church be different? We are called to declare the praises of Him who brought us out of darkness.
