Current Sermon Series: Finding The Christ In Christmas

Today’s Message: “Majesty In The Midst Of The Mundane”

Today’s Scriptures: Luke 2: 1 – 7

Luke begins the story of the birth of the Christ child with one of my favorite phrases: “In those days…” And this reminds me that our Savior chose to enter our world in a humble unassuming way. No fanfare, no parades but instead “Majesty Came In The Midst Of The Mundane”.

Current Sermon Series: Finding The Christ In Christmas

Today’s Message: “God’s Hand In His Plan”

Today’s Scriptures: Isaiah 9: 2 & 6 – 7

Max Lucado wrote; “Do we really need another Christmas? We sing the same songs, put up the same tree, and shop for the same socks and sweaters each year. Is the message of peace on earth, good will toward men still relevant? Is it still possible? Actually, he writes, I think we need Christmas more than ever this year.”
And I believe he’s correct.

Today’s Message: “Getting Healthy & Staying Healthy”

Today’s Scriptures: Titus 3: 9 – 15

Paul ends his letter to Titus with words to guide him in helping the churches on the island of Crete get healthy and stay healthy. It’s not the world outside the Church that’s our biggest threat but it’s self-destruction and divisiveness inside the Church that allows Satan to gain a foothold.

Today’s Message: “Do You Remember?”

Today’s Scriptures: Titus 3: 1 – 8

Do you remember when you 1st recognized what Jesus did for you and said “yes” to Him? Do you remember who you were before Christ and how He changed you? As John Newton once preached, “Jesus Christ is precious.”

Today’s Message: “God’s Plans for Our Departure”

Today’s Scriptures: Titus 2: 11 – 15

God has plans for our departure. My fear is that far too many people these days do not. People make plans for living this life but too few make plans for leaving this life. Thankfully God has made plans for us & His plans are unbeatable and undeniable.

Today’s Scriptures: Titus 2: 1 – 10

J. Wallace Hamilton once preached, “Everyone of us casts some kind of shadow that heals or hurts, blesses or blights.” How long is your shadow? Paul turns his attention to the families in the church of Crete to bring sound doctrine to them.

Today’s Scriptures: Titus 1: 1 – 4

The apostle Paul gives his young companion in the ministry, Titus, an assignment that’s not an easy one.
