The United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area announces its 26th annual United Way Day of Caring, a community-wide service day with nearly 2,000 volunteers working in almost 200 projects hosted by local nonprofits and schools. The United Way Day of Caring is held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Caroline Emerson, Vice-President of Community Engagement, talks with Les Sinclair on “Charlottesville Right Now” about the event. More info here.
