When the Volunteer Fire & Rescue units from Lake Monticello and Palmyra came upon the scene of an accident in which a Timo Husted Wright, a Fluvanna High School student and athlete was pinned in the wreckage of his car, and realized there was nothing more they could do to save his life — the group of men formed a circle around Timo’s body, held hands and raised up prayers. Timo’s mother, Angell, tells Eric and Wendy how she’s continued to pay back Fluvanna County’s first responders with an annual run in her son’s memory, a goal she hopes will reach its ten-year-plan to raise $50K. She is almost there!
