ACPS Center One

WINA’s Les Sinclair speaks with Michael Craddock, Director of Center One, the student center over in the old Comdial Building on Route 29. It houses 40 seniors who work on unusual projects of their own choosing for credit. The idea is to put them near businesses that can serve as mentors.  Next year, the center is expanding from 40 to 240 students and there are a series of community meetings for parents and students on what the center can offer.  More:  https://www.k12albemarle.org/school/center-one/Pages/default.aspx
