A New Twist on why rents and home prices are going up

There are outside entities coming into the market to buy homes or lots to build on so they can be rented. The unintended consequence will be home prices continuing to increase. One would think it would mean rental prices would go down but that has not been the case in other parts of the country where this is already happening.
