Burley Restoration Project

Jimmy Hollins, of the Burley Varsity Club, Jeff Burton with H3 Baseball, and Courtney Polk of the Building Goodness Foundation joined the show to discuss a community initiative to help restore the baseball field at the former Jackson P. Burley High School ( now Burley Middle School). Jackson P. Burley is recognized as a national historic landmark as it was the only African American high school in Charlottesville during the period of segregation.
