Severin Named ACC Receiver of the Week
Virginia wide receiver Canaan Severin was named ACC Receiver of the Week for games played through Sept. 12.
Severin (Marlborough, Mass.) led Virginia with a career-high 11 catches and a career-high 153 receiving yards. Severin recorded three receptions on third and long situations that gave the Cavaliers a first down, as well securing a first down on a fourth down situation late in the fourth quarter.
This is the first honor of Severin’s career.
