Brewster Point Guard Schedules UVa Visit

From thesabre.com (Chris Horne)

Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) class of 2014 point guard Devonte Graham has scheduled an official visit to the University of Virginia, Brewster head coach Jason Smith reported via Twitter.

Graham plans to make two official visits before heading to Charlottesville. He will travel to Kansas this weekend and is scheduled to visit N.C. State April 21 and 22. Graham has yet to set trips to other finalists Providence and Virginia Tech.

Graham signed with Appalachian State as a senior out of Broughton High School (Raleigh, N.C.). He graduated from Broughton in the spring of 2013 but decided to enroll at Brewster Academy for a postgraduate year instead of attending Appalachian State, which only recently released Graham from the letter of intent he signed in the fall of 2012. The Brewster standout boasts scholarship offers from all five finalists.

The 2014 Spring Signing Period for Division 1 men’s basketball begins today and lasts through May 21, meaning Graham is able to sign a letter of intent with whatever school he chooses at any time during this period.

In other news out of Brewster, Coach Smith tweets that Virginia is one of a handful of new schools expressing interest in class of 2015 power forward Jarred Reuter. The 6’8”, 225-pound prospect reportedly has already been offered by Florida and Indiana, among others.
